Paper Airplanes
@rkxbin
They hadn’t had a proper chance to talk in who knows how long. First the MGAs had gotten in the way, with Changbin being signed from that. (The only member of odd soc who hadn’t made an ass of himself.) Then Moonbok’s own trying to manage the crew and his own subsequent signing to Sphere had further disrupted any attempts to hang out.
Not that there’d been a lack of trying since they’d been become trainees. Moonbok had gotten the ‘ingenious’ idea for them to float paper planes to each other during practice sessions, only for it to come to an abrupt end when a coach had caught him chasing after one such plane and then trying to fly his newest message to the younger and hauled him out of the class to scream at him. (At least he wasn’t reported to the company.) After that, they’d simply stuck to KKT, but it wasn’t the same.
Which is one of the reasons why Moonbok is loving this particular evaluation. A social butterfly by nature, this party is the perfect opportunity to catch up with friends, and that is exactly what he plans on doing. It takes a while, but he eventually spies his former crew leader hanging back from the crowd, as reserved as ever.
(In the sea of changes that had become their lives, Moonbok was glad this one thing stayed constant.)
Making a beeline to the younger boy, Moonbok plops down beside him with a grin, sitting in an easy silence for a few moments before speaking.
“For someone whose bones are cracking, you’re looking in pretty good shape, Bin-ah~” he teases, bringing up one of their latest rants to each other on KKT.
