for context. i made a joke once in the royal chat about how jisub’s name is jisub. like sub sandwich. and at the time i was working at subway so i was like. what if seonho just started calling him eat fresh seongsangnim. because seonho has a trend in royal of giving every trainee a nickname. and thus ..... this comic was born. im not sorry. :) under the cut is going to be the nicknames he has for every trainee ( and idol! ) in the company. **note some of them have changed since he originally made them hehe.

CHRISTMAS TIME IS HERE. lights are wrapped around the willow tree and it’s time, once again, to celebrate the season. year end preparations are upon everyone in the industry, and royal is no different - right down to its trainees. sometimes, the christmas spirit can be forgotten in all the hustle and bustle, but the aches and pains are always settled with a sense of warmth spent with family and friends.
when december comes, every day brings new surprises. one day, it’s lights wrapped around grandmother willow and the next, garlands of holly and ribbons adorning the company walls. wreaths appear on the door and that’s when you know it’s really christmas - even seo jisub wants his trainees and his idols alike to celebrate and remember the true meaning of the holiday.
on the seventh day of christmas, there’s an announcement posted on the company billboard:
GATHER ‘ROUND, PRECIOUS FLOWERS. christmas is coming, and you know what that means. a royal celebration, just for the hardworking future hopefuls who make every day at the company a blessing. be at grandmother willow after training on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 30TH for a company christmas party! we’ll be sharing good food, singing carols and reveling in the holiday spirit together - not to mention exchanging gifts! but shhhhh .... it’s a secret! that’s right, our secret santa exchange is a royal tradition - you each will receive the name and a few little facts that santa’s helpers know about your very own secret santa to help you choose the perfect gift. wear a cute onesie to keep warm and cozy. we’ll see you there! - SANTA’S HELPERS 🎁
