welcome back,
@rkseunghee
hallways adorned with welcome banners and cheesy greetings faces the student as she treads down the familiar path. she snorts somewhat ungracefully at the one that hangs rather obnoxiously at the far right. so much for school spirit and whatever else they’re trying to prove with these things. the freshmen are buying it though as they move along the corridors with obvious wonder and some semblance of awe on their features.
it almost makes her want to snort again.
jisoo would hate to think that she looked exactly the same year ago. although she would not put it past herself considering how the shock over the shift of culture was something else she cannot exactly shake off. though it’s different now. they’re the sophomores and the feeling of excitement over being a university student has long withered away under the stress of everything else.
she opens the door to the lecture room of her first class, scans with every ounce of comfortability the room halfway filled with her classmates for the term. she smiles, saunters off from her position at the door, and off to the empty seat right next to the face she was looking for. “welcome back, from me to you.” she greets, leaning for a small hug because she’s always been affectionate that way. “how’s your summer been? any cute flings you forgot to tell me about?”
