Waltz of the Flowers | Solar
Charisma Starter for @rksolar
It’s still weird to be watching skating competitions through the eyes of a spectator rather than a competitor. She’s already had banners for her friends and her idols printed out and she’s already claimed them last week. Her DSLR camera has been fully charged and she brought extra batteries and memory cards. Her companions will take care of the food they’ll eat at the rink, the polaroid camera they’ll use to take selcas, and the stuffed toys they will be throwing at the rink. There’s only one thing left... flowers.
Wendy’s usual flower shop is being renovated, and this one she found through Google Maps is a little out of her way to the train station. This is the second-nearest flower shop from her house, and she hopes the flowers here are cheaper than they are at the ones nearer Mokdong Ice Rink. Those places tend to raise their prices when they know there’s a skating competition. She hopes this one doesn’t pull the same stunt.
She looks at her phone and looks at the address. She should be at the right place. As Wendy steps inside, she spies the usual roses, gerberas, chrysanthemums, Malaysian mums, irises, stargazers, carnations, sunflowers, and a few other flowers she isn’t familiar with. She hears humming as she wanders further inside the shop.
She spies a woman making flower crowns. Now she’s tempted to get those... if she has any extra budget from the flowers. “Excuse me?” Wendy says, as she walks up to the lady in question.
