SAN FRANCISCO FANWING FEST 2026:

Middle school me would be OVER THE MOON finding out years later I would finally meet Tui! And she loved the buttons I made of her characters!!! Her fav button was the one I made of Harmony, and I gave her some buttons so she can take some of her characters with her on her journeys :) She was so nice!!! I told her I loved the small detail in book 16 of Quokka having smile lines because quokkas are also called the "happiest animal" and she was so glad that detail didn't go unnoticed! My hubby who knows nothing about this series came for support xD

We also got special guest Brianna C. Walsh, who showed her Glory articulated puppet, and Joanna Ho interviewed Tui!

But most of all...

WE GOT TO HEAR AN UNRELEASED SONG COVER OF AURORA'S SONG IN BOOK 16 SUNG BY CHRISTINA PERRI?????? (video kept crashing my tumblr anytime I tried sharing here so I shared it to the WoF reddit instead😅)

Overall a very fun fan and community meetup! I had so much fun!!!!!

Since its father’s day, I figured I’d do something different and share a real life picture of Roo (and Moo too, since that’s me 😂) and my dad. This was in 2017, Roo was not happy to be at the dog beach with other dogs, she wanted it all to herself. ☀️🏝️
