Got the new bike out for some gravel miles today and am glad I took the time to swap some stuff around last night. Explored a new trail (Dirty Sheets) and was still feeling good after so tried her on some single track. Ended up with 26 miles and an interesting picture with this random chimney and fireplace in the middle of a field. Rains are a coming so it will probably be a Flywheel day tomorrow
After the storms last night, trails were closed today. I took up on an offer from my friend Kourtney to use one of her Class Passes. Class at Torq for 45 minutes. It was…. not as challenging as I wanted. Not their fault as you control your own torq and stuff so that’s me being a detriment to myself. After a fun dinner at one of our regular restaurants , this is how you find us spending the evening…. comparing bikes. Older RLT9 to newer RLT9. After 1 ride, figuring out which adjustments I want to make. Swap seats, swap the stem, and drop one more spacer under the stem to get closer to my fit. Punky was feeling neglecting and wanted in on the action
Kicking off the training plan for 2017. Realizing I missed a great opportunity to post during all my training and races last year. Hoping to make up for it this year. This is my new ride. The latest RLT9 RDO from Niner. Came in the mail on Wednesday and had my fave bike shop check it over before her maiden ride tonight. Just getting a 12-week training plan started as we prep for Dirty Kanza 100. Did my HR Test tonight to get my zones. Feeling prepped and ready for a fun season.
