Rose needs to shut the fuck up about everything for the rest of time. She’s wrong about legit anything she talks about AND she’s whole ass transphobe/TERF. Why does anyone even care what she has to say?

I’m so glad Natalie came out and put her in her place with class and I’m glad she made it clear she’s been attempting to produce projects with female directors for a long time and they just haven’t gone anywhere. Do you know how hard it is for a female director to get a film funded EVEN WHILE HAVING A NAME LIKE NATALIE PORTMAN ATTACHED? So yeah...just because they haven’t made it to the screen doesn’t mean she hasn’t been working for it behind the scenes.

The amount of features I’ve been attached to where the producers can’t find the money or choose to go with a male director instead because they can get him funded and not a woman is in the dozens. Doesn’t mean those producers haven’t tried their absolute fucking hardest. Rose needs to go into a hole and literally never come back out.

You guys love to share sensationalism and voluntarily become a part of the hive mind because it must feel super cool to bandwagon on hate trains but you tend to do this without knowing all the facts. Now someone is dead because of it but I don’t see a single person talking about it on this hellsite. This is why I doubt the veracity and honesty of the internet’s fauxtivism. People love to grab their pitchforks without corroborating information or thinking about the effect it can have on other’s lives. Now a mother of two committed suicide as a result of brave keyboard fighters not stopping to think before they post nonsense online.

Yes, believe victims but do so with a grain of salt and let investigations by unbiased parties happen first. Yes, support and protect victims at all cost but also don’t ruin someone’s life without due process being served before you go ahead and do it. Whether it be a man or woman making the accusations. It doesn’t matter. I’m all for guilty people paying the price and losing everything for being predators if they are but what about when you get the facts completely wrong? Why is it bad to wait for things to be investigated before you start demonizing one or dozens of people? This mentality of “burn at the stake first and ask questions later” has now cost an innocent life. Two kids are growing up without a mom because of it. Stop and think before you type the shit you type online. Like Jill’s family said in this statement: “words matter and someone’s life may depend on it.”
