born in hong kong as a big shot celebrity child to a former gold medal figure skating olympian turned ceo & a model/actress. he’s known as hui janho in cantonese, though he goes by xu junhao as well. probably goes by jun a lot.
obviously he had to play the part of the perfect son so learning how to act & also being in the center of the public eye is something that became normalized in his life from a very age but eventually he grew to love the attention, the endorsements, the lifestyle
junhao by nature was a Wild child, the type to mess around and get himself almost killed if his parents turned around for two seconds
story time: 7 yr old junhao for some reason thought it’d be a brilliant idea to try to rollerblade on his slip n’ slide because that acceleration tho—yeah he has a long jagged scar on his left knee from that despite his mother’s expensive anti-scarring creams bc his toddler fingers couldn’t help but pick at the scab!!
parents signed him up for all kinds of sports as soon as he could freaking walk to channel some of this reckless energy into something more productive
eventually stuck with rugby & was well on the path to playing professionally with various uni scouts fighting to recruit him until the Incident during 12 grade
naturally a very social boy and made friends left and right ,, but of course his lifestyle led him to come off as snobby to some people
a fellow high school classmate was one of said people and clashed w junhao from the start ,, now junhao isn’t known for being a pacifist and he kinda got a kick out of egging this boy on bc let’s be real, he’s your typical, immature teenager
one day the snide remarks escalated into a full on fist fight in which junhao’s powers manifested for the first time
imagine punching and being punched by a blindingly bright boy whose skin is literally as hard as rock that also happens to be 183 cm tall & 65 kg of mostly muscle ,, yeah it didn’t end very well for that boy
lots of outlandish rumors spread about what happened that damaged his public image and he lost a lot of his university offers because of this
parents wanted to send him away so he could learn to “fix” this issue somewhere far away from them so they gladly pulled every string in the book to get him into gumi although he did have to take a gap year bc of this mess
he’s having a hard time trying to come to terms w the fact that he’s been practically disowned and no longer has half the luxuries he took for granted. he’s trying to pass as nonchalant & carefree abt his fall from grace & as far as the general public knows, he’s being shipped all the way to s. korea for uni bc he’s the new youth ambassador for a pro mutant-human coexistence organization. but he really misses rugby & just his old lifestyle in general :((
stumbled upon seoul’s underground fighting scene by accident one weekend and now he’s using it as an outlet for his pent up angst & stress & also as a source of income bc he needs the money now. it also gives him a nice rush whenever he wins & makes him feel kinda nostalgic. in cases like these, he quite likes his mutation bc it’s lowkey enough that the moderators don’t know that those rock hard abs still stay tht way even after eating 20 big macs
personality wise, he’s like your stereotypical loudass 19 yr jock who rarely takes anything seriously, says bro & dude too much, laughs at dick jokes, & doesn’t know when is not an appropriate time to snicker at vines on twt. he can’t deal w anything emotionally charged and uses humor as a way to hide the fact that he can’t do the whole feelings thing

hails from a very religious upbringing. his only exposure to discrimination for having a power, incidentally, comes from his own parents. harim has two older sisters (one of them goes to gumi! @rmgyuri) who also all have powers so he grew up in a house of very muted contention/didn’t really know how to ~accept himself~ until very recently.
late middle school/early high school, he meets a friend that helps him accept his ~peculiarity~ and harim becomes bolder in the pursuit of his happiness.
in the last year of high school, he used his power (electricity manipulation) to try to resuscitate his (ex??) best friend who’d collapsed on the soccer field, using his palms as makeshift defibrillators. it was risky, reckless, and thoughtless, but he did manage to bring his friend back and although it was an overall success in the end, there was a high chance of permanent paralysis during the recovery process that terrified harim for multiple reasons and led him to uhhhh welllllll cut his friend off i guess??? and stay lowkey until he got his acceptance to gumi lmao
anyway!!!!! hahaha!!!!!!!!!!!! so now he’s at gumi. he’s actually technically supposed to be a second year but halfway into his first semester at gumi, he took a gap year to work and save up money. now he’s back for his ~official~ first year and he’s an alpha initiate to boot, tryna live that best life. he’s a workaholic, tries to keep busy at all times, and in spite of his very transparent personality tends to be kind of blunt sometimes. harim is a really hard worker and he’s all about the grind, all about seizing opportunity to get to the highest peak.
his power leads to a surplus amount of electricity in his body which a) is painful, because it literally feels like he’s getting shocked from the inside non-stop for however long it takes for the electricity to release discharge and subsequently reach a neutral level and b) makes him averse to touching people (as tactile a person as he is!!!) because he has a tendency to accidentally shock them and it sucks seeing the pain in ppl’s faces as they recoil ok. he’s sensitive.
voracious appetite, a lil cheap (buy him food and his heart is urs i assure u), loves to run around and exercise (soccer!!!! as traumatic as it is!!!!!!!), works like 500000 odd jobs but his most consistent ones to date are pt at a bbq restaurant and pt at the gumi library desk, basically never sleeps, and as stupid as he sounds thru text and when he talks sometimes he’s a really good student. he’s a picky eater tbh but he’ll eat anything bc he’s living that hustle life and supporting himself yanno.
HONESTLY he hates having nothing to do and is extremely unafraid of the world so if ur looking for someone to skydive off of n tower in seoul with u, harim is ur guy. he’s even more of ur guy if u buy him dinner after.

tl;dr
the single child of an ex-politician and ceramics sculpture artist. childhood was bliss, a princess adored with sunlight in her hair, but things changed abruptly in her teen years.
her father was imprisoned on corruption charges (actually #framed because he had dirt on powerful ppl and was a danger to their authority). keeps quiet til this day since they threatened his family - hyejin still believes he’s guilty and hates him for it. sometimes she thinks this isn’t a story with a happy ending.
was ostracised & bullied in high school (sheep mentality influenced by the media’s twisted coverage of her father’s fiasco), close ‘friends’ left her and ppl looked down at her for her father’s sins. who knows what other nasty rumours they spread...
became more guarded & apathetic. no one could hurt her if she didn’t care. but she did care, fists clenched as she endured the humiliation before they pushed her too far. hence followed the recklessness, the uncontrollable anger. she won’t allow her family to be disrespected.
fit right in at jaegar - rough around the edges, brutality the one thing she knows won’t betray her. but calmed down significantly @ gumi, though no less ambitious and sly.
v loyal to jaegar and fellow team members. looks out for them in the games w her protective bubbles & shields. at the same time, will do nearly anything it takes to win.
spends half of her time working on her art. she enjoys the solitude, the quiet in her mind when she’s focusing on painting. and for her it’s relaxation & therapy of some form. has probably attended class more than once with paint stains on her hands.
deep down, she’s actually a marshmallow at heart... but has trust issues and is afraid to form deep emotional bonds. still, she wonders what it’d be like if she gave more people a chance.

OVERALL — years in jaeger has indefinitely toughed her up, although yejin still prefers a bit of silence and solitude at times. she has an incredibly volatile personality and is often fickle with what she wants/doesn’t want -- also is known to shift partial dragon forms to ward away conversation. has a lvl 100 rbf and knows she’s intimidating bc of it (which.. good... don’t talk to her she’s not good at it /:) and yes she’s kind of tsun and also binge-watches food reality shows and LOVES monster cage. don’t come and talk to her about your problems because she a) might not care b) def doesn’t know how to respond/deal c) 10/10 will tell her vc about it

i got a little too excited, i had to jump on right away but hi! name’s ana and this is kim nari, lotus member with the ability to rumble the ground with her quirky ability (which manifested when she was quite young)! she has been sheltered for most of her life by her abusive father so please excuse her if she lacks some social conventions. she also has a huge ego, it’s mostly due to her dad’s influence when she was a child and she kind of hates that it’s true (she’s also terrified of him and needs to learn to stand up for herself). nari has that rich girl vibe surrounding her, how everything has been done for her and nari didn’t even have to lift a finger?? now she’s around gumi being an independent woman for once.
