I really love this type of chord progression. (But man, it's a shame cause I really don't like the production on this. Cause the beat itself is pretty good, I really like the synths and allat, and Vonnie D's voice is great. But for one, it sounds way too bright, the high end is too much and the low end isn't enough. It's especially apparent when you listen to it on mobile devices. Also, they over processed Vonnie's voice. She has a great voice and they could've done it justice. It's just way too much autotune. And this is just personal preference but I feel like it'd sound better slower. Like if they came up with a chopped and screwed version it'd be fucking fire. Having said that I actually really like this song. I love indie artists that make music they love. I gotta work harder.) Also this song from the same project:
