Note: I decided to switch to fluff instead of giving exact situations on my intern interview to make it more interesting. Ofc, I was so excited when I got the offer. Yes, I adore them! I'm currently studying Computing as you can see. Will write part 2 once I step into the company in next month.

ꨄDuring your 3rd class, You felt your phone vibrating. When you glance down, your eyes widen at the subject line: "Trinity Sports Tech Center– Interview".

ꨄWhen you open the email, your heart skipped a beat. "Dear Y/N, you have been shortlisted for Trinity Sports Tech Center on this Flyday. Please accept or reject your attendance. Best regards, Hiring Manager, Meguru Bachira."

ꨄThen, you clicked "Accept". You couldn’t help but grin, imagining walking into the company like a professional.

ꨄYou told your friends and parents that you’re shortlisted and it is your last shot.

ꨄThe next two days, you were rehearsing the on interview in front of the mirror and memorised the key points on the company.

ꨄLater Friday afternoon, you wore in your formal attire and clutching your portfolio. The building loomed tall while glass windows reflected your anxious expression.

ꨄWhile waiting outside the interview room, you were tapping on your feet. Your palms felt clammy and you had butterflies in your stomach from every tick of the clock.

ꨄSuddenly, You turned to see a girl rushed out of the room with tears streaming in her face. Your chest tightens while asking yourself, "Am I going to screw up like that?"

ꨄYou gave a shaky breath and gripped your portfolio a little tighter.

ꨄThen, Bachira appeared with his bright smile. 

ꨄ"You’re up next!~" he called out while extending a hand. You gave a nervous smile as he led you into the room.

ꨄ Inside there, Isagi and Rin were already seated and their gazes fixed on you. Isagi’s steady eyes made you feel like he was waiting to understand you while Rin’s sharp stare sent a shiver down your spine.

ꨄ "Don’t worry about it! This interview session is going to be fun!" Bachira’s cheerful voice bounced around the room as he settled into a chair beside them.

ꨄ"Good afternoon," you greeted nervously.

ꨄThey nodded in acknowledgment and Isagi’s smile made your heartbeat calm.

ꨄ"So Y/N, could you tell me more about yourself?" he asked while his eyes scanned your resume as he leaned slightly forward.

ꨄYou lifted your chin and exhaling slowly. "My name is Y/N, and I’m currently studying (your major/course) at (college/university). I’ve always been passionate about (your interests for the company) and I’m excited to gain experience, collaborate with a team and contribute to projects that challenge me."

ꨄ Isagi nodded  and taped his pen against the desk. 

ꨄ"Wow, thank you, Y/N. That was so amazing!" His warm gaze made your chest swell with relief.

ꨄ"Rin, it’s your turn to ask a question." Isagi nudges Rin lightly.

ꨄRin’s sharp gaze fixed on you with arms folded. "Fine. Tell me, Y/N… what is your greatest weakness?"

ꨄYour hands tightened around your portfolio. “Uh… sometimes I take on too many tasks at once and it can get overwhelming.”

ꨄ Rin tapped the desk with a finger. "Lukewarm. If you can’t manage your workload properly, how will you survive in a fast-paced environment like this?"

ꨄYour chest tightened. But before panic could set in, Bachira leaned forward with a wide grin. "Aww, Rin, don’t be harsh. We all do have weaknesses. I think Y/N’s honesty is a good start!~"

ꨄIsagi nodded as a pen moving across his notebook. "Recognising your weaknesses is important. And Y/N, how you improve on them is what matters."

ꨄTaking a deep breath, you straightened your posture. "I understand, Rin. I’ve been working on time management like breaking tasks into smaller steps, setting deadlines and checking in with teammates to ensure progress. With proper planning and effort, I can turn this weakness into a strength."

ꨄRin’s eyes narrowed slightly but he didn’t interrupt.

ꨄBachira bounced in his chair. "Yes! That’s exactly the kind of answer I love! See, Rin? Not everything has to be scary!~"

ꨄ Isagi smiled faintly. "That’s what we want, Y/N!"

ꨄ You exhaled quietly. Being able to survive under Rin’s scrutiny already felt like an achievement.

ꨄ"…Just make sure your actions prove it not just words," Rin murmured.

ꨄ Bachira nudged your shoulder gently. "See? You survived under Rin! I’m proud of you already."

ꨄIsagi chuckled softly. "Honestly, you handled that very well. Most people would freeze under Rin’s stare."

ꨄ Your cheeks heated but your confident smile bloomed.

ꨄBachira grinned warmly. "Just keep being yourself, Y/N. We’re excited to see what you can do here."

ꨄRin’s lips twitched slightly with a faint hint of a smile. You couldn’t tell if it was encouragement or approval but it made your heart beat a little faster.

ꨄ After that, Bachira leaned forward with a grin. "Okay, Y/N! Now it’s your turn! Ask us anything about Trinity Sports Tech Center. Don’t be shy hehe!~"

ꨄYou blinked but smiled nervously. "Uh… what’s a typical day like here? And… What's the working culture here?"

ꨄBachira’s eyes lit up immediately. "Ooooh, that's very good question!~ Well, normal day mostly analysing data and improving the company’s vision. And the culture? We work hard and have fun at the same time. No one here is afraid to be themselves… except Rin sometimes hehe~,"

ꨄRin gave a cold stare at Bachira.

 ꨄIsagi smiled calmly. "Yes, we encourage collaboration and creativity mostly."

ꨄYou nodded. "Wow… it really seems interesting and I’d love to be a part of it!"

ꨄBachira jumped up and clapped his hands. "Alright! That’s it from me. Isagi and I need to prepare for the next session. Y/N, you did amazing!~"

ꨄIsagi gave you a small smile and nodded. "Good luck, Y/N. I think you’ll do great."

ꨄYou watched as the two of them left when Bachira waving enthusiastically and Isagi giving a thumbs up. Your heartbeat was still racing but you felt lighter.

ꨄYou were just about to stand. But then, Rin leaned closer. He bent slightly and his lips were close to your ear.

ꨄ"…Y/N," he whispered. "You got the offer."

ꨄYou froze with your eyes wide. "W-what?"

ꨄRin reached out, his fingers lightly brushing your shoulder. 

ꨄ"…We want you. Congratulations," he murmured.

ꨄYour heart skipped a beat. "I… I really got it?"

ꨄRin gave a nod, then, returning to his usual self. 

ꨄ"Yes. Don’t disappoint us," he added quietly but there was the faintest hint of a smile in his eyes.

ꨄYou felt your cheeks heat up. Bachira and Isagi had left but Rin’s quiet acknowledgement made you feel better.

ꨄAs you left the interview room, you felt relieve. Also, you can’t wait to share the news with your friends and family and to finally step into your role as an intern.

(Ness and his relationship with Kaiser is also a highlight)

I truly cannot emphasise more how much this fic means to me. I have read it at least 6 times and have cried every. single. time. There’s a specific quote that sends me into tears anytime I think about it (I’m tearing up as I write this). It’s such heartwarming, comforting and beautifully written fic.

Meanwhile Bachira, his arm and his heart both freshly broken, tries to convince himself that while love is fleeting, his monster is forever.

Eeek the kids are so cute in this fic. Isagi being head over heels and not realising it. Bachira developing a crush but hesitating to persue it having just gotten out of a relationship. The author mentions that the “fic's original brainrot form, it was more like a sitcom with an ensemble cast and short silly ‘episodes’ rather than a coherent story” which makes for really fun chapter and a real long slow burn feel.

Called Isagi’s latest boulder, “fucking lukewarm,” like he was some kind of underpaid undersecretary, delivering him coffee for the day. Still, Rin never failed to hold up his end of the bargain in this tenuous belaytionship: to show them some damn good climbing. The little flame in Isagi’s chest was back. It licked him black and blue. After a near-fatal climbing accident, Rin resolved to never fail again. Isagi swore he'd take the wind out of this pretty boy's sails. And Bachira? All he wanted was a soft landing, just this once. Going up and growing up; cord of threes and all.

Rinbachisagi and bouldering/rock climbing, what more could you want. The way the author writes is so captivating and such an easy read despite all the technical terms used.

"Silence for a few beats, and then he can hear the clink of Shidou's ridiculously oversized keychain, followed by the slam of the door and his car coming to life on the other end of the line. Rin isn't okay, and the only person he can think to turn to is his shitty brother's annoying boyfriend. A fic on platonic bonds, little things that make big differences, learning compassion toward both others and the self, and coming to terms with being alive. More or less.

A certified Blue Lock classic in my opinion. A must-read even!

Karasu happened to have feelings for Otoya, but he had had this affliction for the better half of two years so it was something he was unfortunately just trying to get used to. He tried to ignore it most of the time since Otoya didn't feel the same; he was straight. Sometimes it really didn't feel that way, though.

His hands are cold. It’s befitting of Isagi, Munich’s neo-egoist soccer machine, to be cold to touch. Even through the fabric, it startles Rin to the point where his shoulder feels like it's burning under his clothes. There’s a moment then, where Isagi has time to let go and shove a flight-provided earbud into Rin’s left ear.   Isagi has the other earbud in, but it seems he had reopened his laptop the millisecond Rin let go. It’s between two options for Rin: watch Isagi work himself to death or accept that he’s been dismissed.  Eventually, he falls asleep. When he wakes up again thirty minutes later, Bachira and Isagi have switched seats and Bachira’s hand is in his. Isagi is still glued to his laptop. Bachira’s palm is warm and he is asleep. Rin doesn’t think anything about it at all.

After nine months of not-dating but not-not-dating, Rin and Bachira plan a trip across their hometowns for Bachira’s twentieth birthday and his mom’s upcoming exhibition. After two months of no contact with either of them, Isagi is invited.
