#MedalMonday (on Tuesday) How about that race, eh? ☔☁🍃 I took a break after bashing my toes up good at #RnRMTL. I barely ran for 3 weeks, and inched back up to a 12km long run the week before #road2hope. After a really good summer of training, I had hoped to break 2 hrs, but I knew going in on Sunday that it wasn't likely. I SLOGGED through this race, my legs burned and the hills seemed waaay bigger than last year. I talked to myself -- a lot. I didnt break 2:00-- but I did PR! -- Coming in around 2:10, beating my previous best of 2:13. Also saw my first race pooper 💩. So there's that.
