A calm morning— {Open;}
And so, one week had passed since Toshizou Hijikata had been brought onto Civilization 9.
Even if it seemed to be a short period of time, it had been terribly long for the vice-commander. Such was his rejection towards the place he couldn't stop thinking about the day he would finally escape from there, even if probably, there wasn't any way to do it. But he still wanted to believe he could return to where he really belonged, to the Shinsengumi. He wanted to wield his katana together with his companions, again. That was the only thing he could think about, and he wanted it, badly. He was stubborn like that.
Because without what he loved more than anything in the world, he was entirely empty.
As one and all of the citizens of Civilization 9, the swordsman had been forced to choose a job. To make things worse. Purplish hues flicked with displeasure as he eventually had selected to apply as the attendant of a tea shop. If he could have decided by himself, he would certainly have preferred to avoid any of the jobs listed in there, but it appeared to be necessary to work somewhere. Not only he had an assigned spouse, but an obligatory labor as well. Even so, as a (unwished) citizen he was, there was absolutely nothing he could do. Hijikata had to resign and accept things were like that, even if they were far, far away of his liking.
By the early morning, the vice-commander had got up early in order to prepare the tea shop for it's inauguration. It was a nice establishment, at least. Not too big, yet not too small. Numberless shelves were located all around the place, different sorts of tea in each one of them. Shutters up, the light fixture was likable enough. The atmosphere was calm, leastwise. That was a plus. Looking around the large variety of tea he had, the man found helpful taking stock of what he had in there. Taking a piece of paper, a tiny brush and an ink bottle from one of the drawers of the counter and began writing as the door opened to allow the entry of the very first customer.
Hijikata elevated his gaze towards the person that had just entered for some seconds, and looked away focusing again on writing down the list of produces he had inside his recently opened tea shop afterwards. At least, he wasn't forced to be nice to anybody.
"Welcome."
