this gave me the image of the merc following all of them around asking until they answer.

dylan: overthinks on her answer for a moment too long, deflates as she does so. shakes it off and decides to answer in a non-hoe-scaring manner.

"just loser, i guess. haha. what about you?"

stéphanie: hates that she was asked this, has to be asked to answer it more than once, keeps asking if you have better things to do. relents eventually, begrudgingly. gives it a moment of thought.

"lover. love. loving. i love you. now, shoo."

dorothea: "reliable," she says first with confidence, before glancing around in uncertainty. "i hope i am, anyway."

[locked]: answer comes to her with absolutely no hesitation.

"sexy." (said whilst slapping her own ass.)

hi!!! spooky ask for you — what would the cast (pre-running into the merc) be doing if they found themselves in a night city overran with zombies?

dylan: unfortunately fr fr does not want to die and so refuses to. character in the zombie movie that the group lets join their band of wanderers, eventually sells the group out for safe passage and entry to a commune after certain conditions are fulfilled.

stéphanie: hard pressed to leave her house, but when in such a globally distressing situation, look for the helpers. known safe house, will take in anyone without hesitation, sends claude and others staying on runs for supplies. ends up bitten in a sudden, terrible moment where she grants entry to a group bringing an infected, presumed sick, friend for help.

dorothea: i'm going to assume this is just zombieland but in 2077, so the virus has spread throughout the NUSA. currently still roaming the south in her own close-knit nomadic community: making some terrible calls wherein they leave people behind every so often, but keeping people alive. doing what she has to do. not touching night city with a 1000 mile pole because the population density there pre-infection was dense.

[locked]: did not fucking survive the life she has for this. unfortunately, the unfuckening of the world doesn't seem to be coming any time soon, and she can only hole up in her apartment for so long. eventually, the corp will come calling. they'll need cyberware, and help, and people willing to take on tasks she isn't brave enough to undertake. would elect not to survive the zombie apocalypse, thanks.

dylan: when you laugh at her shitty jokes, her heart soars. when you make sure to call her first before anyone else, her love for you sings. she's already putty in your hands; what more do you need? you could show that she's important to you like you are to her: put her first in something. she'll notice.

stéphanie: tell her she's pretty! stéphanie is a deeply insecure creature when it comes to her appearance and doesn't expect anyone to go out of their way to look at her. she wouldn't expect it. alternatively: do the chores and tell her to sit down when she tries to take over doing the chores. she'll ogle and ugly giggle about it.

dorothea: honestly kind of hard to rizz up just because she's oblivious to so many things. ask her to help you—she loves being helpful, and then kiss her (on the cheek, if you aren't so bold) about it. a direct shot to the heart works every time.

[locked]: watch an old movie with her, laugh when you're CLEARLY supposed to (don't worry if you don't think it's funny—it's from the 2000s, you'll know when you're supposed to laugh), or play video games with her and let her win and gloat. basically: allow her to exercise her secret identity as a gigantic fucking nerd and she'll be thinking of kissing you afterwards.

tamber! random question - if the cast were given a scented marker who amongst them would taste said marker?

dylan: she knows the marker isn't going to taste good. but it smells like cookies and cream. tasting said marker anyway, sadly capping it and putting it down whilst looking like a shameful puppydog.

stéphanie: does not see the point in a scented marker. thinks they are strange. does not taste the marker.

dorothea: thinks the scented marker is neat, but she isn't going to taste it. keeps it on her person to write on things with. politely shows off the scented marker whenever she whips it out.

[locked]: tastes the marker but only in boredom, and only after making sure that no one is looking. makes an Immediate Face of Disgust, will continue to sniff the marker after distancing herself from it for like five minutes.

hi verity ❤️ i hope you're doing fantastically. i love thinking about characters getting married so thank you SO MUCH 😭

dylan: impulsively, and only when she sees people around her getting married and realizes that that can be her, too. she didn't think she'd be alive this long or that anyone would want to be stuck with her forever, but she loves you: leaning in, nudging gently with her elbow and tangling her fingers in yours. "we could get married, you know. right now, we could. do you want to? let's go, let's get married."

stéphanie: you would be hard pressed to make this woman propose. not the type to offer grand gestures herself, expects them to be presented to her regardless: drops not-so-subtle hints for a long while before telling you, in frustration, to "dear god, PROPOSE ALREADY! but do not make it obvious i just told you to. find a way to make it seem like it was your idea."

dorothea: she's been planning your wedding with you almost since when you've started dating; it's a topic she likes, and one she seems happy to discuss. once she's decided to put proposing into motion and has started looking for materials and an old ring, it's all that's on her mind: can you blame her when she ruins her own surprise? watching you adoringly during something mundane, you're probably sweaty and covered in desert dirt. and she is grinning and all of her emotions have decided to surface. speaking before she thinks.

"marry me. wait—crap. shit. i didn't mean to do that yet, i swear—i'll redo it later, this is so freakin' gonk. would you still? let me, hold on—" pulling the keyring off of her keychain on her belt loop, sliding that around your finger. "this isn't it, i swear. but for now? would you?"

[locked]: has the most traditional proposal out of everyone. she's been planning this for months, and is overly cocky and excited about it. acts smug, waves it in your fave that she knows something you don't. mentioning it on her own broadcast, letting everyone (except for you) that she knows know that she's proposing soon, because it makes her better than them.

she'd eventually ask during a big event: a parade in the city, new years fireworks: either way, she is making a spectacle of it, and does not stop showing both you and your matching rings off afterwards.

what everyone was like as a grub (child):

dylan: insanely sticky child, got told to be the dog a lot when playing house and was significantly more of a follower than a leader in regards to anything. drew on her arms with markers and had a new crush or "boyfriend" every week, wrote love notes, passed out valentine's. still cried a lot. over everything.

stéphanie: sheltered, unsociable, studious. focused on her books at school and didn't hang out with anyone outside of school—helped her mom run her own diner a lot, learned to cook with her. found doing chores more often than like. going outside. not a sticky child because her mom made her wash her damn hands.

dorothea: INSANELY muddy child. lazier than she is now, shy around adults, curious and bubbly around other children. played in the mud and picked up trash to keep a lot. screamed at bugs. still kind of screams at bugs. started adoring cars early on and getting in trouble for taking things apart without asking.

[locked]: hell on wheels. playground bully who only bullied you if she had a crush on you, and she had a crush on everyone. always injured and sticky. literally bit people. went home and watched movies because being that much of a terror doesn't leave you with very many friends after school.
