Ok so this is Toutai’s form when he uses the phoenix miraculous. He simply goes by Phoenix in this form. 

The phoenix kwami is called Bennu. I named them after the Egyptian name for the Phoenix. Their concept is renewal and their powers reflect the dragon miraculous of the Chinese box. Like how the dragon has three moves, the phoenix has the same amount. There is Ash Phoenix, Fire Phoenix and Water Phoenix. Ash Phoenix allows the user to transform into a cloud of ash. Fire Phoenix allows the user to be engulfed in fire which can harm it’s enemies (burn them or blind them depending on the intention of the user) and Water Phoenix creates a rain that will heal the user and their allies. 

Random fact about Toutai and his lover Mulan. While Toutai uses the Phoenix miraculous, Mulan used the dragon miraculous. In Chinese mythology, the Phoenix represents the empress and the dragon represents emperor. Now I’m aware that it’s the other way round with these two but I like that it kind of reflects the mythology.

And here is Alpheus’s form while using the Hippocampus miraculous. In this form, he goes by Triton. 

The Hippocampus Kwami is called Nepp and their concept is focus. Their power is known as Stream, which allows the user to create a stream of water that can be used either as an extra weapon (takes the form of a whip), a wall which stops people from going into a certain area or as a cage which can contain a certain target. Alpheus’ use of stream is actually much stronger then other users as his natural magic was elemental base.

So this is Rene’s look when he transforms with his miraculous. His hero name is Wyvern and his ability is called Empower. When used, it allows the user to increase their allies’ strengths, abilities and endurance. It is very useful against an enemy who feeds on negative emotions such as Guilt Trip. The kwami is called Vernn and it’s concept is Chivalry.  Sir Rene also had the nickname the Dragon Knight because of his look. His Miraculous is a jacket earring that turns into a full dragon when it’s inhabited by Vernn and his weapon is a sword.

And this is Khnurn’s outfit when he transforms with the Sphinx Miraculous. He takes on the name Imenand, which means the hidden one, in this form and the ability is called Reveal. When the user uses this ability, they force those who lie to tell the truth. The kwami is called Nixx and their concept is intelligence. The weapon is a khopesh, a curved sword favoured by pharaohs. His miraculous is a head chain that transforms into a head piece when inhabited by Nixx.

Here’s the Fourth Incarnation of Hao Feng. His name is Sir Rene Dulac. He was born in Medieval England during the Rule of King Uther Pendragon. While he shares the same basic abilities of his past lives and can access his former abilities, he actually doesn’t use active magic due to been forced to hide that he is a mage, thanks to King Uther’s laws against mages. Instead, he opted to learn alchemy in secret and trained as a knight. He befriended the great dragon Kilgharrah, who taught him how to cast spells in secret. After King Uther’s death, he became more open with his magic and seeked to bring the King’s murderer to justice before he could strike again and kill the now King Arthur.

Like his previous lives, he trained as a guardian and ended up guiding a lot of other heroes and guardians. He also took to wearing a miraculous but favored the Wyvern miraculous of the western box, which represents chivalry. Like his previous lives, Luka will learn more about him.

Keeping with the theme of rebirth, I choose the name Rene for him as it means Rebirth. His surname comes from Sir Lancelot’s surname Du Lac, which means of the Lake. Since Feng and his incarnations have a connection to water, I thought it would be a nice touch. Though he isn’t related to Lancelot.

Spoiler Alert for ROA Lore

So this is the third reincarnation of Hao Feng. His name is Alpheus and he was born in Greece. He has the same base abilities as his previous lives but he specialized in elemental magic. He also gave Herc and Hippolyte their miraculous and assisted in the battle against Hera, who became his sworn enemy after he cursed her with the ability to speak only the truth. Like his past life, he wore a miraculous during his lifetime.

So I picked the name Alpheus because it means Successor and is also the name of a river god. Like the other lives of Feng, Luka will be seeing him in his dreams.
