Citrus Liquid Solutions
One of the first natural methods for getting rid of roaches at home is definitely the use of citrus. Obtained by lemon and limejuice squeezed and mixed with water to spray on cockroaches. In our opinion, this method is not effective at all in getting rid of roaches but can be a good solution in keeping the house smelling fresh and hence preventing roaches from coming in.
Soap and Water Mixture
The theory behind this method is that soap can block and cloak the pores of cockroaches, which stops them from the ability to breathe. To be honest, this method is perhaps one of the worse online. Think about it, these roaches have survived decades of natural disasters and you think by mixing soap and water will be sufficed to get rid of them? Think again.
Cucumber Peels
Cucumber slices do have the capability to keep cockroaches away, but it’s not at all effective in getting rid of them and the roaches might even consume them as food.
Herbal Leaf
Another ineffective solution to kill roaches is herbal leaf. This method not only do not help in getting rid of roaches, they might also attract them as it help warms the area and create hidden and shades for them. Similar to cucumbers, they might also be consumed as food for the roaches.
