Motorcycle Ride De Luz Rd to Rancho California Rd
There's a 𝐫𝐡𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝐃𝐮𝐛𝐚𝐢'𝐬 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 that most people miss.
The steady hum of premium tires on 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐭 creates a meditative state that transforms 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐲.
Each lane change 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐚 𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞, every merge a 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞.
The right tires don't just connect you to the road - they connect you to the 𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲'𝐬 𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐬𝐞.

Just had the worst drive of my life
Here are some of the lowlights
Raining, so cannot see and cold (dont mind cold but fuckin road dirt on my visor is no es bueno)
Forced nuetral for the first time ever
Phone lost signal
Therefore got lost
Learning to use sliproads is a nightmare when braking distance is doubled
Forget to put my glasses on so had to turn around and go and find them
2.5 hours into a 45 min journey and my back hurts
Lost traction at least 5 times
Recently re-lubed my clutch lever(feels very nice now) however it now has a different bite point that im still not used to
The rainx it does nothing
Numb right hand
Jaw hurts from stress clenching
Was fucken wimby so i was wobblin all over the shop
One person in front off me slowed down before the sliproad so i had to emergency brake but not too hard to cause an slipnsliden
Today I learned
The feeling that you get from cringing at the same squeal your steering wheel makes, on the same two left turns you make every single day leaving for work have become therapeutic in a sense. Focusing solely on lighting a cigarette while you’re on the open road driving that distance you need to go. The deep smell of burnt ash or creative menthol flavoring of the smoke leaving your mouth grips your emotions deep in a way nothing else can. Reminiscent roads curving sharper than a blade’s edge. Today I learned that my sanity solely comes from those re-occurring events day in and day out. There is no struggle once that car is turned on. It’s only peace.
