The road was north now to Jaffna. I stopped at Wilpattu National Park for a safari. I was lucky to see 2 leaopards, elephants, mongoose,deer, boat, foxes and much more. I then headed inland the the ancient capital of Anuradhapura. I was only passing through but couldn’t have stayed here longer. There is so much to see. The old temples and ruins of the original city and stupas. It’s beautiful, I was there on a Saturday so it was very busy!
