I think I remembered something else I was confused by the perspective of the memory and the way my vantage points kept changing but then I remembered how many fucking eyes I had and that makes perfect sense It was raining and the smell was strong My fur was plastered down and the water was dribbling over my teeth and down my chin Maybe I had some scent glands in my mouth too?? I took shelter beneath the roof of the structure I guarded I’m still not sure what the exact purpose of it was, but I know it belonged to/was made for the snake creature I’ve talked about before I saw but didn’t use some stairs leading up to it, they had color on them but my eyes didn’t linger there long so I’m not sure exactly what whatever was on them was Once I settled down I glanced out into the trees again and saw those same black shimmery scales moving by, but again I was not afraid I feel like this was after our initial “introduction” and there was an understanding that I was allowed to be here and that she was making her presence known, but would not bother me

Also I don’t know if my brain was filling in blanks but i think I might have gotten a better look at what my claws were like Much more curved than I usually draw them I’ll have to play with that later

Just put my responses to the 30 Day Fictionkind Challenge I tackled back in May on it’s own webpage on my personal site. I revised my old answers and completed the last few questions I missed.

I still want to spend more time analysing what makes me a dragon before I really lean into using those labels, I would like to also find some time to get back into meditation and visualisation too, but it was helpful to get all of my initial thoughts and current knowledge down while I was in the mood to after the con.

I’ve just posted my essay “The Great Blue Dragon — Draconity and My Fictionkinity” to my personal website. In this I explore what dragons mean to me in terms of my fictotype and why I consider myself to be more draconic than demonic and see myself as aligned with the experiences of dragonkin due to this.

I’ve been doing a lot of work on my personal site lately! I’ve uploaded a personal essay on why I call myself transspecies and the ways species dysphoria and nonhumanity have linked to my experience being transgender, I’ve started working on an alterhuman resources masterlist and a glossary, and a couple other things! I’m super proud of it so far.

Othercon has been super interesting thus far! I’ve learnt a lot already and I’m inspired to write alterhuman-related things for my personal website at some point
