Garden of Eden? No, just good ole Jamaica...Roaring River, to be exact. This was an hilarious adventure where I headed out with my daughters and their friends, headed to the south coast to see the crocodiles at Black River. We got lost and ended up doubling back, whereby a guy we thought we knew offered to show us how to get to Roaring River. We did get there safely. Toured the river and toured the caves. At the end of the cave tour, the guide sits you in this little stream coming from a hole in the wall. He then proceeds to rub you down with sulfur. He tells you all about the therapeutic properties, too. As we finally pulled into our hotel late that night, my 16 year old daughter turned to me and said, “Mom, you are the only person I know who could head us out on the road to see crocodiles and we all end up in a cave, having a total stranger rub sulfur all over us!! It was a great day that we all still laugh about! #roaringriver #onlyinjamaica #jamaica #jamaicansbelike #rivers #jungle #gardenofeden #thingstosee (at Roaring River, Saint Ann, Jamaica)
