In a flavorful broth, crispy roast chicken wings, savory wonton dumplings, and egg noodles make up this delicious Chinese-style dish.
Ingredients: 1 lb chicken wings. 1 lb wonton wrappers. 1 lb egg noodles. 2 cups chicken broth. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1-inch piece of ginger, minced. 2 green onions, chopped. 1 tablespoon soy sauce. 1 teaspoon sesame oil. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 400F 200C. Place the chicken wings on a baking sheet, season with salt and pepper, and roast for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. While the chicken is roasting, prepare the wonton filling. In a mixing bowl, combine minced garlic, minced ginger, chopped green onions, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Lay out the wonton wrappers and place a small spoonful of the filling in the center of each wrapper. Moisten the edges with water and fold them in half, sealing the edges to create wonton dumplings. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside. In a separate pot, heat the chicken broth and bring it to a simmer. Add the wonton dumplings and cook for about 5 minutes or until they float to the surface. To serve, divide the cooked noodles among bowls, add the chicken broth with wonton dumplings, and top with the roasted chicken wings. Garnish with additional chopped green onions and serve hot.
