You could tell these guys had costume designers, great special effects and put a lot of effort in finding the right people to play these roles and tell the story the right way.

Short Films: TREEVENGE (from the Guys who made Hobo With A Shotgun) We've wanted to watch this short film for a long time and accidentally came across it - and happy we did! This was used in part to show the powers that be that they (being director Jason Eisener and producer Rob Cotterill) had what it took to make a feature length version of Hobo. We actually liked this short better than Hobo. It's quite funny, the way it uses gore as comedy. **And it is quite gory, be warned!** Happy to see J Roc and Sarah (Lahey's real life daughter) in it... (if you don't know of who we speak, you need to watch Trailer Park Boys), and from the Bizarro WTF "It's A Small World" Scenario: The Axeman at the beginning of the film with the longer white hair and cigar - was the co-star in the first short film we ever made wayyy back in the day called The Assessment. Mr. Mike Cleven, a mountain of a man with the kindest heart. We'd wondered what ever became of him and now know he ended up out East, at least for the filming of Treevenge. Happy to see he's getting to work on interesting projects!
