Twice in one day Rob comes up...

Found this while moving stuff on my desk to make way for my new monitor. The last time I saw him. He asked me to borrow money. I gave him $40. He wrote me a check for $45. Told me to wait a week to cash it. Then you all know I couldn't very well do that, as he passed away five days later...

I've been holding onto this check ever since then. My last piece of him. Our last memory. It wasn't the best, but it was still ours. We did the usual white boy homophobic jokes, we briefly talked about our lives, we made tentative plans to hang out in the next few weeks.

But then I never saw him again. I was gonna make a joke about how I never saw my $40 again either, but I started crying to much.

So, the other way he came up today was when I was adding friends on good robot usses' Twitter account. I just looked through all of the accounts hawkingbishop is following and tried following them on good robot usses. And of course one of the names I came across was Rob.

Shortly followed by Christine. 😔😔 Another friend gone too soon.

So, this was one of the big reasons why today was shitty. 😶

(I cried multiple times before work. Cried on the drive into work. Took a couple Xanax before work to try to help me out. Was okay for a while but then started to fall apart after a manager was basically telling me I wasn’t working fast enough and doing things wrong. Took another Xanax and cried in the breakroom at work. Doug was there and was cool about it and we ended up having a conversation about all sorts of stuff, including his disdain for Animorphs and just “morphing” in general, and that’s why he’ll never read it. The rest of work went by fairly okay until the end when I was pretty much berated again and again for going too slow. BUT I’M SORRY I LIKE TO ACTUALLY FUCKING DO THINGS RIGHT. ASDKLFDJFKLASJKDFJKLASDFJKLGJKLASDFDJKL

But, anyway. Then after work, I texted Josh to see if he wanted to go to Taco Bell, so we went and he bought me some food and we talked and that was really nice.)
