Here’s What’s Happening in Tucson This Weekend!
Happy Friday Everyone! It’s that time of year again when crowds will gather downtown for the 4th Annual Street Fair. Over 250 artisans will showcase their wares on 4th street, sharing the space with 600,000 visitors throughout the weekend! Hopefully, you reserved your parking space yesterday! There is music and entertainment on the 5th Street Stage, and the 7th Street Stage throughout the weekend. Make sure you have enough wall space for this year’s Street Fair poster of course!
Depending on day and time, all eyes may be pointed skyward watching Davis Monthan’s spectacular Aerial ballet featuring aircraft from the World War II era through present day! See performances from single-engine aerobatic plans to military precision flights from The US Air Force Thunderbirds team. You will hear thunderous booms and flashes of lighting, but our weather will be just perfect!
There is also magic happening on the ground this weekend with performances of The Illusionists at Centennial Hall. A rotating cast of magicians, illusionists, escape artists, mind readers, and more all appearing on one stage to amaze and confound their viewers. This production has been shattering box office records the world over. And magically almost, another illusionist headlines tomorrow at Desert Diamond Casino. Check out Rob Lake’s show tomorrow night. Finish off the weekend at La Encantada as they present their Event! The Event at La Encantada features 50 of Tucson’s most renowned restaurant food tastings, wine tastings and entertainment. Proceeds benefit Tucson’s Boy’s and Girl’s Clubs.
