Hi! I've seen you talking about aftg repeatedly so I wanted to ask: what do you like about the series? Did you have a "I'm so obsessed with this" moment? Cause I've been hearing about the books for years now and finally caved and started reading. But I'm...struggling, to be quite honest. This is unlike anything I usually read. And I'm pretty quick to dnf if I'm not into something but! so many people really love it, so I'm very torn this time. Am I just not getting it (yet)? Should I keep going? Will I fall in love with the story eventually? Or is this a "you either love it or you hate it" situation? I'm stressed 😅 help
heyyy YUP 😭😭 so unlike anything i normally read and i actually had no intention of continuing after the first book until my friends encouraged me to and- RAH.
i'm just in love with the characters. i'm so in love with them even if a sports mafia and most of the story is Not what i normally go for At All.
i would say i changed my mind about a third of the way into the second book !!! and it was the end of the second one that i fell in LOVEEE with it. definitely a more character driven love for me but !!! highly recommend making it to the end of the second one to see how you feel about it (also i just think it's so nice to see how the writing develops over time)

so absolutelyyy the baltimore bit like you said !! the idea of andrew who hatesss giving up control just being,,, restrained. handcuffed. and that's okay, he reaches to touch neil anyway. the One thing he fears the most is that lack of control and he only has One Hand and it's okay !! neil is here. touch.
i am SO weak for "you were supposed to be a side effect of the drugs" because !!! oh MY !! to be able to Feel Enough through the drugs to hope it's a side effect? for him to be able to Feel Neil through that??? i'm going insane !!!!
and then one of my favouriteeee scenes is that bit in the bar when neil leans against andrew and yaps poetically about how sturdy he is !!! gay ! gay ! gay !
and then the casual armband gift??? zar i'm going insane !!! i told you they are Everything and RAHHH !!
