So E.S how did it go with Rivet, everything ok?
Lazy Scouts, Role Reversal AU style
So I saw this WONDERFUL POST from this WONDERFUL AU by @crystal-caper and I decided, I have to write this.
So my thinking is, Pixel is overworking himself on building one of his inventions, trying to find a solution but he feels pretty stuck. Robbie Rivet tried to tell him to take a break to clear his head, but he refuses, his logic being if he spends MORE time thinking about it he will come up with a solution faster. Desperate times call for desperate measures, so Robbie tries to tempt him with the great outdoors. One problem is that Robbie knows not a single thing about being outdoorsy, he doesn’t even LIKE being out there that much, but he’ll do it if it stops Pixel from looking half DEAD in there. Hijinks ensue, but first...this.
Robbie:
If you wanna see the great outdoors, you’ve gotta follow me!
Sling your packs o’er your shoulders and just LOOK at this here tree! (Woah!)
Get up, breathe fresh air, come NOW while it’s not raining [Robbie’s eyes dart around]
Always working isn’t GOOD
In fact! It’s just DRAINING.

Continuing to experiment with colouring. Hard contrasts are fun. Also, I lost track of how many times I tweaked their faces while colouring.
Inspired by @crystal-caper‘s Role Reversal AU and @dangerouscommiesubversive‘s Fanfiction “The Legally Mandated First Date Experience“ I recommend checking both out, because they’re hilarious, adorkable and just plain awesome!
