Robert Steinhardt (1950 – 2021) was an American rock violinist and vocalist who is best known for his work with the group Kansas 1973-82, and 1997-2006. In recent years his profile was raised by his work for Jon Anderson, both live and on the track 'Activate' on Anderson's '1000 Hands Chapter One', a truly outstanding album.
