VanceRobbie stuff I like to see as Prompts in fanfic/fanart

I have been thinking a lot of ideas of VanceRobbie (Vance Astrovik x Robbie Baldwin) so here are the prompts I like to see in case of fanfiction or fanart. 

- Robbie bounces around as Speedball and tackles Vance into hugging and kissing him

- Vance and Robbie watching a movie and then snuggling as they fall asleep

- Vance and Robbie tending each other’s wounds after a battle

- Vance takes Robbie on an outing like picnic, camping, roadtrip or any kind of outdoor activity. 

- Robbie does all the weird poses and funny faces while Vance tries to keep his poker face

- Vance and Robbie listen to their own music together by plugging each of the earphones to the ears

- They have a bath together and groom each other (if the bathtub or shower room is big enough for them)

- Robbie lies down and snuggles up in Vance’s lap

- Robbie and Vance have a selfie together (though Vance seems reluctant)

- Both of them go for stargazing at night

- During winter, they engage in a snowball fight (though Vance is reluctant at first). Also they do childish winter games (e.g. ice-skating, tobogganing and making snow sculptures)

- Both of them do volunteer work in Stamford 

- Both of them comfort each other when they have a bad time or having nightmares 

- Vance and Robbie play video games together

- Both of them go on cosplay at the comic con

- Prison AU (Vance and Robbie try to cope in the harsh prison environment and at the same time, Vance wants to help Robbie as he’s too protective)

- House of M AU (In a world where mutants ruled and humans/superhumans are second-class citizens. Vance Astrovik is the mutant lawyer representing Robbie Baldwin who is a superhuman criminal.)

- Vance and Robbie fight crime together as Justice and Speedball on their roadtrip. Plus, Niels the bouncing cat is an accidental animal hero. 

- Vance and Robbie volunteer (though at one’s reluctance) to babysit Tigra’s baby William as she goes out with Hank Pym. Takes place at Avengers Academy. 

- Vance gets sick with a bad migraine (that’s the side effect of using too much telekinesis) and Robbie takes care of him. 

- Any kind of intimate kisses 

- Vance and Robbie try to do baking with less than impressive results

- Vance and Robbie go for shopping

- Robbie/Vance goes on a protective mode when one is injured in a fight

- Vance and Robbie sit in the warm Jacuzzi 

- Vance and Robbie share their umbrella under the rain

- A kiss with some telekinesis involved 

- Vance and Robbie do some dancing or karaoke 

- Both of them get intimate in bed (either sexually or non-sexual)

- Vance holding the unconscious and wounded Robbie (in Avengers Academy Speedball outfit) in a pose like the comic cover of Uncanny X-Men #136

- Vance and Robbie hold hands as they do whatever they like (e.g. running along or sitting there romantically)

- Vance uses his telekinesis to levitate Robbie and takes his hand as they go a short flying trip

- Robbie does the famous pose on a high place and says “I’M FLYING, VANCE!” like that Jack and Rose scene from Titanic movie

- Ummmm...on the final thing, death scene in a heartbreaking yet touching way

What if...VanceRobbie

We all know that all the chatter and hullabaloo broke loose when there was a retcon of Iceman suddenly outed as a homosexual thanks to Bendis. Also, the famous homosexual Marvel couples - Wiccan & Hulkling, Rictor & Shatterstar are fan-favourites on the LGBT-friendly Tumblr (and outside Tumblr). 

What if....Speedball and Justice of New Warriors get outed as LGBT superheroes? 

If Speedball (Robbie Baldwin) is revealed to be gay and Justice (Vance Astrovik) gets outed as bisexual, then tumblr would go crazy over them. And then, the New Warriors fandom would get bigger that they would get more slash fanfiction and fanart about Vance and Robbie.

My headcanon for Speedball is that that he might be gay. He seems to have some kind of infatuation on Justice by spouting out-of-context jokes, witty banter and he always yell for Vance in the recent New Warriors issues. And Robbie even shared a bed with Vance in one Nova issue while poor Sam sleeps on the floor. Who knew that Justice might also turn out to be bisexual too since he has past relationships with the girls (Firestar and Ultragirl) and nowadays his friendship with Speedball with homoerotic subtext...

Silly VanceRobbie Rambling

Imagine if Vance Astrovik and Robbie Baldwin went to the comic convention together...Vance could dress up as Captain America while Robbie would dress up as Bucky or Winter Soldier for cosplay. Vance is definitely a fanboy of Captain America as his future self Vance Astro wields a shield and is even dressed up in Captain America’s suit in the 90s.

“Why does this alwayshappen?”

The words are spoken so close to Robbie’s ear that Vanceactually feels strands of his stupidly long hair brush against his lips when hespeaks.

“Hmm?” Robbie asks distractedly. His face is practically pressedup against the narrow stripe of glass in the middle of the door so Vance seesthat he doesn’t bother to even glance at him, too busy watching the outside forthe police officers they, or rather heaccidentally pissed off.

“This is the first time we’ve ever hid in a closet.” Robbiewhispers.

“No, I mean, why does stupid stuff like this always happenwhen I’m with you?”

Robbie turns to him with a smirk and Vance tries not toreact when the tips of their noses brush. This closet is barely big enough fora child, let alone two grown men.

“Because I know how to show a guy a good time?” he says witha wink before the expression slips, replaced with something that looks to behalfway between sheepish and defensive.

“How was I supposed to know that the dude is a wantedcriminal? There’s so many supervillain wannabes that pop up these days, I don’tkeep track okay?”

Vance shushes him when voices and the unmistakable sound ofconversation held over a radio filtered in from outside, way too close to wherethey’re hiding.

Robbie’s eyes are huge and bright and too blue right next tothe light from the glass and the only ever so slightly apologetic, mostlyconspiratory look they’re giving him should  probably not make something in his stomachjump like that. He looks away.

The cops talking into their radio are right outside theirdoor, Vance could see them through the narrow glass. He’s so focused on themand silently willing them to walk away that he almost jumps out of his skinwhen he feels Robbie’s thigh brush against his.

Robbie mouths Sorryat him when he turns to look. A hand settles on his hip, possibly in an attemptto reinforce the apology and does the opposite. Vance’s skin prickles under hisshirt but he doesn’t shrug the hand off, just gives Robbie a puzzled, searchinglook.

Robbie, for his part, just looks like he’s completelyunaware that his hand is gripping Vance’s hip. He turns to look out at the copsalmost immediately, sucking his bottom lip into his mouth as if concentratinghard enough would make them walk away.

Then his other hand settles against Vance’s side, lighterthan the other as if he’s just putting it there distractedly.

Vance knows he’s doing it on purpose but clearly, that’sokay with him because he lets his hands stay there.

Eventually the cops move away. The second they’re gone,Robbie lets go and reaches for the door. Vance tells himself he’s just beingsafe when he tugs Robbie back and makes him wait another minute in silence justto make sure the coast is clear.

When he feels a chest press against his, this time he doesjump a little. His lips almost brush Robbie’s cheek when he turns his headagain. Robbie is looking out the door and Vance doesn’t believe the carefullyblank look on his face for a second.

He feels Robbie’s breath on his face when he looks up atVance and raises his eyebrows, smiling.

“Well that was fun.” He says.

“Speak for yourself.” Vance says before stepping away andout of the closet.

“I’ll take you somewhere nicer the next time we’re on therun from the authorities I promise.”

“There isn’t going to be a next time,” Vance says onautopilot, glancing left then right, still keeping an eye out for any men inuniform.

“Aww, really? But we didn’t even get to make out in thecloset.”

Vance trips over nothing and barely keeps himself fromstuttering through an embarrassing response.

okay so i was just thinking about my otp tags for robbie and vance which are "for real this time" and "you're sexy when you're angry", which got me thinking of them having to go undercover and pose as a couple for some new warriors thing (let's ignore the fact that they've both been on national tv: neighbour, "you look like that guy." robbie, "nope that's not me, i have cooler hair") and like it's all fine and good and they're getting a kick out of it, it's funny, they get to laze on couches and watch movies together, they get to do all the things they haven't gotten to do in a long long while.

but then when the mission is over there's this unspoken awkward tension between them like never before and the whole team notices it and one day it builds up and they're yelling at each other for no goddamned reason and then there's a lull, where everything has gone silent, and robbie, bless his heart, chooses this time to whisper (loud enough for vance to hear), "you're sexy when you're angry" and vance just stalks over to robbie and (they're actually the same height, don't trust the nova issues) kisses him squarely on the mouth, and then of course they start making out and their hands find purchase in each other's arms, hair, any and everywhere they can touch, and when all is said and done, with robbie's head on vance's bare chest, and vance's stroking and playing with the blond's hair, he asks, "would you like to go on a date with me? for real this time." and robbie turns, looks at vance and just smiles blindingly at him, and they know that whatever the world will bring tomorrow or in a week or a month or even a year later, they'll be okay, they have each other, just as they always have.
