Roberto Gemelín aka Robert Calvin and aka Groof is one of the more actives producers in Madrid. In 2004 he had already published releases in Turbo or Disko B, wich in reality are just the shinest side of a long and prolific career, distributed between different labels, styles and projects. After a long period of silence under this alias, Roberto has come back as Robert Calvin and after editing a great ep in the label Interstellar Tracks now he introduce this “Alpha ep” in Factor City. Four tracks in wich the Spanish unleashes his passion for Italo, Space Disco and Electro everything through his palette of analog sounds and without leaving the dancefloor. The influences are there and goes from Moroder to Vangelis going through Megabeat in four cosmic and emotional cuts that will delight your feet and ears. To remix “Night Stalker” we have chosen another producer living in Madrid but born in Córdoba, Javi Redondo. With a recent and promising career as a producer, his first 12” appeared in Correspondant on spring, Javi shows his talent in a dark and acid remix, respecting the original track but with his own trademark.
