Infante Santo - Carlos Botelho by Robert Lx Via Flickr: In 1959 various Portuguese artists created intricate azulejo murals that were placed on walls along Infante Santo Avenue in central Lisbon. This one is by Carlos Botelho. Azulejos still constitute a major aspect of Portuguese architecture as they are applied on both the interior and exterior of buildings and other structures.

Morpheus Hotel 2 by Robert Lx Via Flickr: Zaha Hadid, the architect of the Morpheus Hotel inaugurated in 2018 in Cotai Strip in Macao, described its façade as “world’s first free-form high-rise exoskeleton.” The building is 155 m high.

Wandering around its medina you can find places where everything in sight is stunningly blue.

Bahá'í Temple of South America by Robert Lx Via Flickr: The Bahá'í Temple of South America is located on the outskirts of Santiago de Chile, at the foothills of the Andes. Opened in 2016, the temple was designed by a Canadian architect David Pontarini, who drew inspiration from Sufi whirling dervishes, Japanese bamboo baskets and fragments of shattered glass.
