vignette indenture of piccadilly pavements and trickledown biorhythms of roman rule, drafting diurne, invitations of featheredged plumbic blue seen as a needle that inoculates the backstreets. the imaginal maintenance of the city is undertaken while children sleep, tiny animal cleaners mechanically wipe the furrows of history, soon ensoled anew. the sun reprints its playbill in these sweeps of dust, the private crosshatch of memory extracted. a lash of inner eyed petulas in perpetuity press. i'm sure that i see time hurrying on, shedding tinsel tears on london town.

The Noise of Engines https://bit.ly/3DvUU5Q At the Raindance film festival, London, UK, 27 October–6 November 2021 French-Canadian film-maker Philippe Grégoire’s debut feature The Noise of Engines (Le bruit des moteurs) starts off with various shots of cars donutting away in rubber-burning circles, going nowhere, but fast.
