Robert Platz from Elitist playing their song "Principles"
To whom it may concern, I can't put all my love for Drive A into words, but here's some. Drive A was the one of the first bands to believe in me. At the time, I was a punk ass fifteen year old. They never talked down to me and even let me sell merch at my hometown shows. They were the first band to invite me onto their bus. Jason was the first guy to say that I couldn't do merch because it was hard to take a minor on tour, instead of saying it was because I'm a girl or that I'm "not pretty enough" or the other shit I've gotten. I wouldn't have met one of my closest friends without them -- hell, you wouldn't be reading this without them. I guess all that's left to say is: R.I.P Drive A and thank you so, so, so much a million times over for believing in a punk ass fifteen year old all those years ago and for helping me believe in myself. I wouldn't be the same woman without you. From the bottom of my heart, Cassandra Ephebiphobia
This may come to a big surprise to most people but after 5 years, 2 albums, and hundreds of live shows we have decided to call it quits. Drive A has lost its meaning and creatively isn't as fun and exciting as it was when we first started 5 years ago. It would be wrong of us to pretend and carry on any longer. We would like to thank everyone who ever supported us and hope that everyone will continue support the members of the band in their future projects. Lets remember all of the good times we've had together, you all mean the world to us. We love all of you, - Bruno, Jason, Taylor, Robert (source: facebook.com/drivea)

Follow the new drummer, Rob. He's still getting used to tumblr, so don't judge his blog just quite yet.
