#Repost @angelapmeleca ・・・ Friends, Due to an unforeseen event, Robert Buck's opening reception has been moved to *Sunday Nov. 4th (12-6pm)* to coincide with Downtown Art Sunday. (See article I previously posted) We are excited to allow visitors for the first time to experience the installation process! The viewer will witness, almost performance like, how the works were originally created in the studio. The new three-dimensional works comprising the exhibit were made over time impulsively, in spontaneous, even urgent spells. What in-forms the work are the contingencies of the encounter between Buck’s animated body and the artifact objects. Buck will recreate the work, performing similar spontaneous, urgent spells, in the gallery.
