Rosalind sits beside Robert as they work, a casual hand on his shoulder. She had been trying to correct him for the last few minutes, but he wouldn’t listen.

❝I’m trying to correct you.❞ she sighs, slightly irritated as she points to where he had went wrong, ❝Do you see now? Honestly, I adore you but you can be so annoying to work with.❞

Unfortunately, Roux and I haven't developed the relationship between Robert and Rosalind as much as I would like, but we have established some significant details between the two!  I really love their relationship, because it's very appropriate for siblings and there's an outward facade of familial irritation, but the pair truly care for each other in a way that transcends most sibling bonds.

In the verse we have set for them, Robert is the older twin, but Rosalind is prone to protecting him and sticking up for him, particularly when they're younger.  They argue a considerable amount, too, and Robert is a mama's boy, while Rosalind is daddy's little girl.  Rosalind has a deep-rooted resentment towards her mother, as she does in every verse, so this causes the two of them to clash often.  However, despite their arguments, Rosalind does what she can to make sure her brother is happy and safe.  She would do anything to ensure that, much to Robert's dismay.  To some extent, I feel as though he wants to be the one who protects her, not the other way around.

She's also prone to making him cry when they're little, so there's that.

Gods or Kings: Myth & Character Parallels

[2/?] ▣ Robert Lutece & Rosalind Lutece as Castor & Pollux

Castor and Pollux were twin brothers, together known as the Dioskouri. Their mother was Leda, but Castor was the mortal son of Tyndareus, the king of Sparta, and Pollux the divine son of Zeus, who seduced Leda in the guise of a swan. Though accounts of their birth are varied, they are sometimes said to have been born from an egg, along with their twin sisters Helen of Troy and Clytemnestra.

When Castor was killed, Pollux asked Zeus to let him share his own immortality with his twin to keep them together, and they were transformed into the constellation Gemini. The pair were regarded as the patrons of sailors, to whom they appeared as St. Elmo's fire, and were also associated with horsemanship.
