the rocky horror show in spanish
In anticipation for my weekly Roberto Peloni post I did a quick sketch last night. I might scan this and fix it up digitally later but here it is for now. Hope you guys enjoy it :)
Sorry this is a bit late I’ve been busy so I made this one extra special. Even though we are all know the show this one is special because of Roberto’s history with the film and his career.
THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW
The first time Roberto ever saw the film was when he was 15 and a friend brought him the VHS from New York and he had no idea what it was about or what was going on, since there were no subtitles. He had just started to study theater at he time and the thing that impacted him most was that he noticed he looked alot like the main actor, Tim Curry( in an interview he jokingly called him his long lost father). Years later as his career began to take off many of his friends and fellow actors would tell him he should play Frank if and when a production would appear.
Now in 2016, the first Rocky Horror production in Argentina since 1994. He didn’t even have to audition for the role, the director Andy Say called him up and asked him to play the role and he accepted. That’s also when they discussed Frank’s iconic BOSS tattoo and Roberto decided he would get it tattooed for real. He is the first actor to play Frank N Furter to have a real BOSS tattoo. He chose to get it not only because of the part but to commemorate his journey from the beginning of his career to now playing the role he had always wanted. Roberto is a true fan of the show (its his favorite musical) and he plays Frank N Furter with great respect and adds his own twist to it in the best way, and he brings a presence to the character that translates beyond the stage. He is a force to be reckoned with and if you get the chance to see this show you do not want to miss it.
All photos are given credit to the photographer either by watermark or in description. The only one that is mine is the photo edit of the Boss Tattoo.
Considering I’ve accumulated a large amount of pictures of Roberto Peloni Ive decided to create a series of photo sets that i’ll upload weekly, and considering how little new Tim material there is non remake this will probably take up a large part of my blog at least for a while. So brace yourselves because I have more than enough to last past October.

Seriously it is crazy how much they resemble each other. Just the eyes alone is enough to make you melt. The casting could not have been more accurate.
