ROBIN: So, the first questions for you. We've got two shipping questions, do you know what shipping is?

CHRISTIAN: No... Shipping questions?

ROBIN: Yeah, so marry, kill, and... uh, kiss, this time.

CHRISTIAN: [laughs] F- kiss!

ROBIN: You get to choose between Rudolf, Lucheni, and Tod. And it has nothing to do with the people themselves, only with the characters.

CHRISTIAN: Well, it would be useless to kill Death, because he's death. Marry kill kiss... Well, I'd kill Rudolf, because he's going to do that himself anyway. [both laugh] He does it himself, you don't have to help him with it. I'd kiss Lucheni [they go in for the kiss], because... because he looks so dirty, it'd do him good. And marry Tod, clearly. Because you can't get rid of him so why not bind yourself to him now.

Guten Abend, meine Damen und Herren. Halle an der Saale. Bundeskanzler Helmut Kohl befindet sich auf Antrittsbesuch in den neuen Bundesländern. Kohl will den Chemiestandorten in der Umgebung von Halle ein Überleben zusichern. Dies werde aber ohne drastischen Personalabbau nicht möglich sein, so Bundeskanzler Kohl. Beobachter sagen voraus, der heutige Tag wird in die Geschichte eingehen als der Tag nach der Wiedervereinigung, an dem die Spannungen zwischen Ost und West erstmals eskalieren.

Scene Analysis/ Commentary : the saddest scene *German production * (spoiler warning)

To me the saddest scene in the show is Tink's death (kinda obvious I know but) it is especially heartbreaking with Tom van der Ven as Tink and Robin Reitsma as Strat.

Let me explain:

1. I have seen the 3 different Strats from the German production but only the First Cast (Tom) as Tink

Robin and Tom have the best Strat/Tink chemistry that I have seen until know. Honestly they are so cute with each other during Wasted Youth and Frying pan and it is obvious how much Strat cares about Tink.

- which makes Tink's death even more painful...

While he is dying Robin!Strat holds him in his arms, holds his hand and repeatedly kisses his forehead. He is crying and looking to the other Lost with a pleading look in his eyes and cries even more when it is clear that there is nothing he can do.

After Tink has died in his arms he cries out his name and drags his corpse as close as he can, holding him tight and kissing him again and again - refusing to let go. The others have to literally drag him away because he refuses to let go of Tink. Ledoux has to hold Strat back because he is still reaching out for him...and then he breaks down in Ledoux's arms...

The whole scene is super sad and I always feel like I am being stabbed in hhe heart ...I really love the scene...

All the different Strats make this scene emitional but no one shows as much tears and pain as Robin as Strat .
