A Date to Remember|| Closed Makoh
Iroh hung the phone up and grinned as he grabbed his keys and dashed out of the door and into his satomobile. Lin had FINALLY agreed to let him surprise Mako at work--she had taken a lot of convincing, but it finally worked!
He had it all planned out, from the showing up and forcing Mako to take a lunch with him, to the hot air balloon ride, to the picnic just outside the city--he had everything planned. It may have been a bit much and overly cheesey, but hey, Mako seemed to like all of that stuff, so he was totally willing to do it.
It didn't take him too long to get to the police station, but he made a point to wait a good few minutes to give Mako a chance to actually take his lunch. Which he didn't....as always.
He climbed out of the car and went inside. Mako was setting at his desk--working hard. Iroh looked around and caught Lin's eye and nodded to her which he was given an eye roll. He grinned again and then made his way to Mako's desk.
"Good afternoon, officer." He said leaning on the desk. "Care to join me for lunch?"
