Forgive me for not posting much lately. Honestly most my of time has been spent watching the playoffs. One of my favourite teams is the Buffalo 🦬 so it's been exciting to watch 😁
I have a bunch of posts ready I just haven't had a chance to queue it all up yet 🙃 hopefully this weekend or the next
Been a busy watch week!
Finished S6 Supernatural. Finally got around to sorting the High Potential posts (they start again next week) and started a couple of new shows!
UPDATE
I am very aware it is now March and I dropped off the face of the earth! Sorry! There's a lot been happening. Work's been a bit bonkers because we've had our annual external auditors attending the offices. That's the super boring reason.
A more interesting distraction has been reading Fourth Wing. Not the best fantasy I've ever read but it was easy reading. It was finished in 2 days. Unfortuantely I've also been lent books 2 and 3 and been told categorically I also need to read those to share in the pain my friend went through when reading it themselves.
The more exciting reason I disappeared though, is because - and I don't know if I've mentioned this before or not? - I've been writing. I've always done it as a hobby and it was mostly fanfics in my teens and twenties. Back half of last year I decided to actually take a stab at writing my own, and get some of those crazy ideas out of my head and onto paper!
I've spent the last couple of weeks working on a zero draft! Which I've finally finished! 👏
I now have the super fun job of naming characters, working out the world "rules" so I don't contradict myself, and going back through and unpicking plot holes - which I know are there, I skipped over fixing them for a reason! I now have no excuse to keep ignoring them! They need fixing for the next draft...
I haven't written anything seriously for about 3 years now, so it's been a lot of fun getting back into the rhythm of it!
Other blog posts will probably start again over the next couple of weeks!
Just an FYI
Some changes ahead with the posts from next week. Shameless will continue as normal but I'm taking a short break from 911. Probably until the current series finishes airing (hopefully then I'll be less likely to see a spoiler trending!).
My autistic brain is struggling with the overload of information that makes literally no sense with these spoilers and I'm getting a little overwhelmed by the uncertainty of it. So a small break is needed to regain some enjoyment from it I think!
I've been watching a couple of new shows - and a rewatch! - though which I'll be posting soon 🤗
