you know the scene with finn and robert fanboying (??) over death note? i don't understand some of what they're saying bc english isn't my first language and they're talking very fast. i was wondering if you could help me. after finn says 'i was trying to get your sister coming to ..... with me'??? until the 'hang on, you know what i'm talking about'? i feel so stupid i just don't get what they're saying ;_;

I would love to help you! Slight problem is that the reason it’s probably hard to understand is because it’s very specific words. Here’s what I understood:

Finn: “Actually, I was trying to get your sister to come into Leeds with me. They’re showing the new Death Note films at the ____” (The blank thing is “paragon,” I think? I think he’s referring to a theatre name.)

Robert: “Cool! Have you heard they reckon Gus Van Sant is doing the American version?”  (Thanks to people for helping me with the “Gus Van Sant” name!)

Finn: “Hang on, you know what I’m talking about?”

right now im very glad that robert and finn aren't that good of friends because if he was what if he had gone to finn to talk about it but the convo lead to robert and finn sleeping together as a drunken mistake :/
