The large, tacky neon sign flickered uncertainly above Damian. Absently, he tugged at the drawstring of his hoodie, left foot tapping an impaitent rhythym against the concrete. He checked his watch yet again.
6:38.
The corners of his mouth dropped a little lower into a scowl.
"Grayson!" he growled into the growing darkness, apathetic to the concerned stares he reccived. "It's your damn birthday, why am I the only one here?!"
With another huff, he tucked his hands into his armpits and burrowed his chin into his collar, eyes shifting left, right, and up, scanning the scant clusters of people for familar faces.
God, no. I'd remember something like that! But hey, I have a question. Are you and Red Robin dating? It kinda seems like it! And he's kinda cute, in a Dr Midnite Jr kinda way!
