Robinsons Brewery / Scotmid Coop Triple Hop Ale (Picked up at a Scotmid in Edinburgh). A 2 of 4. Smells of caramel malt and some roasty qualities, as well as faint grassy and spice hop notes. Drinks much the same. Nothing bad about this, but nothing particularly great, either -- right down the middle on most qualities.

Off the porch shelf. Almost certainly a purchase from a booze cruise to France last year. Drunk in the evening in the comfort of home with a meal cooked by the wonderful Mrs H.
They say: A porter-style, full-bodied beer with ripe malt and a smooth chocolate taste. Based on an original recipe from 1899 and created with the collaboration of renowned chocolatier Simon Dunn. Serve lightly chilled. Suitable for vegans.
