Woohoo! It’s that time of the year again where we do ROBLOXathon!

What is ROBLOXathon? 

ROBLOXathon is a charity event held by me and my friends where we livestream the popular game ROBLOX for a few days straight, trying to raise money for various charities. In the past, we’ve done the charity water, the Red Cross, Second Harvest Heartland, the World Wildlife Fund, and various others. We’ve almost raised 10,000$ for these various charities, and it would mean a lot to me and the rest of the crew if you could check it out and maybe donate!

Well, what charity are you doing this time?

This time, we’re doing it for Direct Relief, a charity that specializes in getting health options to those who cannot afford it. We’re trying to raise $500 for this charity!

Hello, my name is Tobias! Me and my friends are about to host our seventh ROBLOXathon. ROBLOXathon is a livestream in which we raise money for a specific charity. This time, we’re doing Charity: Water.

We have a goal of 1,500, but we can’t reach it without your help. 

But what is Charity: Water?

Charity: Water is a charity that goes to developing countries to assist in the construction of clean water systems. Basically, they go give water purifiers to countries that really need it, based on the donations they receive. 

Some Statistics:

An estimated 748 million people do not have clean water.

Over 5,000 children die everyday from water-borne illnesses and thirst before their fifth birthday.

The WHO reports that over 3.6% of the global disease burden can be prevented simply by improving water supply, sanitation, and hygiene.

Me and my friends Jared, Jake, Jakob, Blia, Sarah, Birdi, Jordan, Lindsey and possibly some others do a thing called ROBLOXathon! 

What is ROBLOXathon, you may ask? ROBLOXathon is a livestream marathon for a set amount of time to raise a certain amount of money for a charity while playing the online game ROBLOX. People can donate towards seeing us do silly incentives like eating Asian foods, dancing crazily, singing karaoke, doing the saltine cracker challenge, and other things like that. We do one every season, and we have raised over 300 dollars for the charities Water and Second Harvest Heartland! We're going to be doing another one the week after school lets out called ROBLOXathon:Care. We're going to try and raise 500 dollars for 75 hours straight. Even if you can't donate, it would mean a lot to me and my friends if you could at least share our cause around Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, etc etc. We really wanna raise money to change the world, that's out set goal.
