good morning!! how are you? What is your favorite robot?

OH MAN OH BOY. Frakking love robots.

I have so many favourites, but I think it comes down to either HAL 9000 from Space Odyssey, Caprica Six from Battlestar Galactica, or Tex from Red vs Blue. And here’s why.

Hal gets grandfathered in on this one. He’s a classic AI who’s got a wonderful character arc and is treated as a sentient being, but not a human. He was well-written and had wonderful flaws, in my opinion.

Caprica Six was one of the first robots I ever loved. First off, she’s played by Tricia Helfer, who is drop-dead gorgeous and, in my opinion, a wonderful actress. She goes through some awesome development, and she is this weird mix of messianic archetype and confused, conflicted leader.

Tex is a wonderful character. She kicks ass, and I kinda like how her character works. She keeps getting revived, even though she doesn’t want to, so I think it’s a good thing she’s dead for good. For her sake.

It’s late, and I needed something to relax myself with. So I not only tested a redesign of Fem-Croc, but also gave Robob something fun to do. Yay, I guess? XD
