Image description: a humanoid robot (but only from the waist up) in a display case. The robot has a gold head that looks kinda like a motorcycle helmet with a black faceplate, one gold hand with three fingers and a thumb (the right one, the left is completely absent), gold joints in the shoulders, the NASA "meatball" logo and the GM logo side by side on its breast. The NASA meatball logo is the logo that is a round blue field of white stars with a red sideways V (called a chevron) across it.
This is a robonaut (specifically one of the Robonaut 2 or R2 models), designed for use on the International Space Station to do work deemed too dangerous for human astronauts. There is a camera hidden in its head to allow its operator to see.
I missed the sign on this one, so I'm not sure if this is a prototype or replica of the R2 that was sent to the ISS (that one is currently located at Udvar-Hazy in Northern Virginia alongside the shuttle Discovery, and the robot pictured above is definitely not there).
