Everyone knows of Grian. The Scarlet Macaw hybrid. Full of chaos, fun times and is a die hard builder (and #1 Mumbo fan) at heart.

But not many know of the....other ones. The ones who live in Grian's Hermitcraft base every season.

There's NPC Grian. He's a... strange one. Unlike the others, he can't fly nor walk normally. It's all janky and stiff. His wings aren't a pretty colour, they're a shade of brown since he's actually an Indian Vulture hybrid. Every time he flies, he spins around in circles, watching from above.

He's also deeply obsessed with rustic houses and gets disappointed every time when Grian doesn't build one or take any of his ideas. He doesn't mind his small, two block closet space. It's cosy to him, but he does sneak out whenever he can to stretch his wings.

On every server from season 6, the hermits have seen something flying above them in circles, but they can never quite make out who it is. But Mumbo does, and so does Pearl when she joins, since they both know of the weird being that is NPC Grian.

Robot Grain lives in the bases too, but he gets the basement instead. Like NPC Grian, he's... weird. He's made of iron and is powered by redstone that Grian is still shocked on how his mismatch redstone keeps him running. His wings are entirely made of metal and are not lightweight so he can't fly high like the others. 1 block high to be specific.

He's the reason behind Grian's terrible redstone skills since his information is always wrong and confusing. Grian does eventually get it (after he stops listening to the robot version of him in his basement)

Then there's Ariana Griande. She's a Galah Cockatoo hybrid. Bright pink feathers, always is responsible for the pretty and flowery designs around each base. Was the one who came up with the Buttercup group in season 9. She gets her own room, all pretty and pink. She writes songs, and helps Grian get in touch with his musical side (which is where all his songs come from with the help of her)

Lastly there's Poultry Man. He's a chicken hybrid. He's basically the estranged cousin/weird uncle. Never sticks around, shows up once every blue moon and loves his chickens and eggs. He's the real mastermind behind the chicken fiasco in season 9 within Doc's perimeter. There is always a bed waiting for him in Grian's bases and it does get used since there's always chicken feathers lying on the bed that are a bit too big to be normal Minecraft chicken feathers.

He was summoned from a circle of rustic houses, that’s why he ONLY builds rustic houses :3

I love NPG he is so me. SOMEOME LET HIM OUT THE CLOSET (and get him a soul actually. I’ve been considering writing a fic about him searching for a soul. . . I Wonder if the watchers could help him with that?)

Whenever I see human!Grumbots I hope in my heart out there, somewhere, in that universe, there's a human!NPG and RoboG that are kind of like the criminal adult siblings that sometimes come around and teach their younger brothers tax evasion
