A very spooky kofi for blindmagicpony ☕️ Patreon / Commissions & Kofimissions / PAPERCUT webcomic
Ladies and gentlemen and others, I bring to you The Digital Trio.
Been having this idea stewing in my mind for a while, about Alice getting together a tribute band of robots to cover songs from Steam Powered Giraffe, assisted mainly by her father, Doctor Innovatium.
Featuring Spectre, the Skeletorian-made musical automaton commissioned by the Doctor to be the band's guitarist and straight man.
And ... BIN, who the Doctor made out of the remains of dead robots (guess the name of one of them). He's somewhat of a dilapidated Frankenstein and, to be frank, rather quirky.
Boris Dolgov, ‘Specter in the Steel’, ’'Weird Tales’’, Vol. 36, #11, 1943
I showed Geoff Peterson to someone and they said that he reminded them of me IMMEDIATELY and I am both proud, and incredibly concerned about that fact.
We love the gay skeleton robot.
i love pinterest bro there’s like images of things
I have taken the Digital Trio sketch from before and turned it into a fully-fledged art piece, complete with vignette and grain for that somewhat-authentically vintage feel. I have also renamed the band “Digital Innovata”, because that’s a slightly better name than The Digital Trio. Now you can see Alice’s SPG cover band in all their deliciously-coloured splendour.
I’ve also dabbled with using more than one program for this piece, doing the main piece on Medibang Paint Pro and then adjusting colours and adding effects using Photoshop. The PNG export ended up being at 20MB, but thanks to EZGif, I was able to optimise this image to the point where I can upload it.
A potentially better image can be found here: https://www.deviantart.com/adamskelecoot/art/Digital-Innovata-853861032
