Continuation of ‘Just Desserts’, a short comic I’m working on.
Now you all can see why this one took so much longer than the others. 14 panels is... a lot... and I had to do a whole bunch of research and reference-hunting and find a decent tutorial for painting sweat because I'm pretty sure I've literally never drawn sweat in my life (and it was an extremely last-minute addition, but I like how it turned out). Really pleased in general with how this page turned out, but I'm hoping I won't have any more quite this complicated and labor-intensive.
Also, this is why you wear your seat belts, kiddos...

That feeling when you take care of one serious problem and it winds up creating dozens of new serious problems.
Hahaha, I am the worst to my characters and I have absolutely zero regrets...
...guys, glowy stuff and explosions are just super fun to draw, so, Ben was really the perfect character for me to center a comic around.

I went ahead and shaded him. My new nemesis, along with hands and shoes: fucking plaid. So tedious. Also gotta love the fact that I was super fast and lazy with Ben's hair, and, shading-wise, it looks better than everything else, because of course it does. I think this brings it up to a total of about 4 hours I spent on this?
