Open status update on my projects and finances, etc

Dear Friends,As many of you know this has been an exciting but exhausting year for me so far! I’ve taken on several new projects including a healing center, a hundred person burning man camp (including art car and dance troupe), a ninja training course, a fashion line, AI research team, commissioned light-based art, collecting art from notable burner artists, daily DAO news report, gallery showing for paintings, erotic incantation candles, a VR real estate app, portuguese, russian, several philanthropy efforts (burning man temple, zendo, PWA, etc), private members club, and a fund of funds. Additionally I gave talks on the future of finance and governance in about 20 different cities #YOLOAlthough I engaged in some financial planning at the beginning of year, I was expecting to spend about 10% of my net worth on artistic  philanthropic efforts, my spend relative to what I could afford increased beyond a comfortable limit.  In this expansive phase, I found that I engaged with some truly incredible artistic people that were dedicated to very similar visions as what impelled my own artwork and space creation. At the same time, some people developed unreasonable expectations that I would indefinitely fund projects in a sort of laissez-faire fashion without any accountability, including instances where people billed me for work that they did not do or re-adjusted the details of contracts and billing after they were agreed upon. At the moment, I am:1. Thinning out my commitments up through the end of Q1 to focus on projects that have a clear path to revenue and which I am sure I can reliably accomplish with a high degree of quality assurance.2. Inviting people who have a sense of patronage to meditate on how they fit into the larger picture and establish whether they want to make some form of ongoing commitment. 3. Building valuable financial instruments with highly committed and mutually incentivized partners, especially focused on institutional on ramps.
