Just when he thought he was getting somewhere with Raven...
Robin takes Raven on a day out in good ol' Gotham.
Robin defends his brew.
A collection of one-shots for RobRae Week 2019! Not completed yet but I'll get there eventually.
Hi there! Here are some of the stuff I wrote for RobRae Week 2019. Seeing as I’ve posted the one I wrote for Day 4 (Gotham) here, I might as well link you the rest. Thanks! And enjoy~

Robin: “Raven! There you are! Where were you? Why... are you dressed like a clown?” Raven: “Harley Quinn.” Robin: “What? I sensed you were dying; not getting really irritated. Besides, that smile suggests you had fun.” Raven: “It’s painted on. And, unfortunately, like with the rest of my face, it’s some kind of latex-mix. Soap and water aren’t going to cut it.” Robin: “You’re showing a lot of teeth, though. Tell me what happened.” Raven: “It all started when you were taking Riddler in...” (Next)
Raven: “I went to go find you after I freed that hostage. It was then that I met a certain laughing maniac.” Robin: “Joker!” Raven: “Yeah. He gassed me before I could even speak. Luckily, I went into a trance before I could die of laughter. Harley found me while tracking her ex. I guess she knew I was stable because she decided to dress me up before administering an improvised antidote. Hence, my smile.” Robin: “I told you not to go into Gotham alone. Still, glad you’re safe... and smiling.”
Robin: “No... no! Where is it?” Raven: “‘Ello, Robin! Whatever is the matter?” Robin: “Uh, hi, Raven? The coffee’s missing, and we just bought it.” Raven: “Not to worry, my cabbage. How about a spot of tea?” Robin: “No thanks. Coffee’s what I need. You haven’t seen it, have you?” Raven: “Not since I chucked that rubbish. Tea?” Robin: “Umm, no. You what? Raven, are you alright? What’s with that British-accent?” Raven: “I’m quite right, love. The real question is why you refuse the tea.” (Next)
Robin: “And you keep asking me to drink that tea...” Raven: “It’s not so much asking as ordering: DRINK. YOUR. TEA.” Robin: “Raven, I’m going to ask you nicely to put that tea down. It might be laced with something.” Raven: “You’ll think differently after... You should see your face.” Robin: “Huh? What the heck’s going on?” Raven: “Just a bit of fun at you. I was actually a little over-exposed to ol’ Mod’s screens last-week. I’ve suppressed it, but tea brings it out. Oh, and here’s your coffee.”
Gotham
This for RobRae Week 2019 that I totally missed. Shame on me, yes. This is for Day #4, Gotham/Azarath. Out of all that I tried to write, this was the only one that I was satisfied with. It's not much but please have it. My offering for RobRae.
Raven breathed in the cold, dank air of the city. It was different from how her home city felt. The air was thick and gritty. The smell of car exhaust, garbage and the sewers were prevalent in the air. The city has always carried a certain gloom even under the light of day. Now, in the cover of the night, Gotham was even more ominous.
