sometimes the spirit compels you to make a 90's vaporwave fever dream tribute to Myst, and you must listen 📕📘
Robyn Miller and Dylan Keogh in S37E15 "Lost in Translation"
WAIT WAIT WAIT you know who HAS to come back for robyn's funeral: MAX! surely they can't not have her brother come to her funeral right???
Whoever they've got in recently in the BBC Casualty writing room to help with characterisation needs to be re-evaluated. Does anyone else agree with me?? There are quite a few characters right now that I'm finding it hard to connect to, and are making strange uncharacteristic decisions and have traits that are picked up in one episode and then immediately forgotten in the next...
Paige - she makes huge mistakes at work and in her personal life, and we're meant to feel sorry for her as they try and present her as a likeable character ?? She basically "broke it off" with Rash and said she never wanted to meet his dad, and then in the next moment, she's really smiley and happy to meet him, and is even bonding and giving up her evenings and nights to take care of his dad. They have been barely going out for long, so I don't know why she's been given that responsibility and it's clear she's going to either cheat or dump Rash for Teddy because of that strain. I just can't see that their relationship is a fan favourite because of this
Paul - We can all agree on this. He's just an intolerable character in my opinion and easily and unapologetically breaks the law/hospital rules, and puts people in danger with no thought, and yet he's meant to be a responsible step dad for Charlotte and Robyn is meant to be completely in love with him when we all know she could do so much better
Both these characters are just in a word - unpredictable, so I'm finding it really hard to relate to them, connect to their story or even be interested in anything they have to say, because I simply just don't know who they are.
Stevie is another character who initially began the show as independent, confident and really, really smart. How she doesn't see that Marcus is manipulating her is actually shocking to me (although I understand Marcus' is being emotionally abusive towards her when she is vulnerable and this can change people's confidence and their independence)
Robyn, Ethan, Rash and Charlie are best friends argue with a wall. I will not be taking criticism ❤️
