Please do yourself a favor and check out this amazing book!

It’s a choose your own adventure book where you get to choose different genders/gender identities/gender expression/and so much more! I’ve learned so much from this book, even on aspects of gender identity that I already thought I knew a bit about. It’s really fun and informative, and covers cultures from all over the world as well as hypothetical cultures (the section on what it’d be like to live in a society where gender didn’t exist, for example).

I really cannot recommend this book enough, I am finding it very fun and informative, and it’s fascinating to learn about different concepts of gender from all over the world.

I’m a cis woman though, which of course affects my experience, but it seems quite wonderful so far. If you end up picking it up I’d love to know what you think!

Mod opinion: I haven't read this book yet, and it doesn't sound particularly interesting for me right now, but it does sound like an interesting trans 101 book for beginners.
